Relats acquires the German Company Rhenatech (Elantas Group) and integrates the new range of bimetal covers in our portfolio. Once the takeover is consolidated, the production is transferred to the other plants of the group.

Relats inaugurates the new installations at our HQ in Caldes de Montbui. The new plant with more than 7.000 m2 is equipped with the most advanced technology on the market. The site comprises more than 12.000 m2 of terrain.

Relats acquires the British manufacturer of electrical insulation sleeves Suflex Sleeving Ltd. Relats UK Ltd comprises 2.000 m2 and is located in Risca (S. Wales).

Vicenç Relats Arimon founds Tejidos Relats S.A, in an industrial building located in Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona). The company is dedicated basically to the manufacture of textiles for conventional industrial use, specialized in cotton. .
